Wallace and Gromit have run out of cheese and this provides an excellent excuse for the animated duo to take their holiday on the moon, where, as everyone knows, there is ample cheese.

This prison comedy is based on the popular British televison series of the same name. Long time Slade prison inmate Fletcher (Ronnie Barker) is ordered by Grouty (Peter Vaughan) to arrange a football match between the prisoners and an all-star celebrity team. Fletcher is unaware that the match is only a diversion so that an escape can take place. When Fletcher and his cell mate Lennie (Richard Beckinsale) stumble on the escape, they are taken along, and find themselves having to break back into prison to avoid getting into trouble.

CREATURE COMFORTS is a brilliant and hilarious clay animation series about the lives of animals as told by the animals themselves. Interviews with these lovable claymation creatures leave no stone unturned, no tree unclimbed, no sea uncrossed in the quest to discover what our fine-finned, furred and feathered friends really think about the issues that are closest to their hearts. It’s a “mockumentary” like none you’ve ever seen, and it could only come from Nick Park and the untamed minds at Aardman Animation.

A sea cruise goes bad when a crash landing on a tropical island subjects the crew to an army that wants to take over the world. While the crew tries to get out alive, Godzilla takes on a giant crab that inhabits the waters and can only be kept away by the juice of a berry that grows on the island.

Mr. Tako, the producer of a low rated television show called “Mysteries of the World”, decides his show needs some spicing up. So he sends two of his staff, Osamu Sakurai and Kinsaburo Furue, to Pharoh Island to bring back some berries, called soma, noted for their non-addictive narcotic effect. He also wants the two to bring back proof of a giant ape named King Kong. Before the pair leave, Osamu stops by his sister Fumiko’s apartment for dinner with her and her boyfriend, Kazuo Fujita. During his visit, Kazuo shows the two his new invention, a wire that is stronger than steel. In the meantime, a submarine collides with an iceberg releasing Godzilla, who was trapped there seven years earlier. When Osamu and Kinsaburo arrive at Pharoh, they not only find the berries but the giant ape. After a battle with a giant octopus, Kong drinks the juice that is made from the berries and falls asleep. While he is sleeping, the pair tie him to a raft and take him back to Japan. In the meantime, Godzilla is rampaging throughout the Japanese countryside. While in route to Japan, Kong breaks free and swims toward Japan and inevitably on a collision course with Godzilla.

Jamal Walker is a bumbling African-American loser with a lousy job at a crummy theme park called Medieval World, which is receiving heavy competition from a superior stadium with a similar theme, Castle World. Jamal’s pathetic life, however, is dramatically altered while cleaning the stagnant moat. He finds a medallion in the moat, and while trying to pull it from its spot gets sucked into a vortex after an apparent knock on the head. Awakening in England, 1328, he bungles his way through this strange new world, learning his modern lifestyle learned in the ghetto clashes strongly with the Renaissance period. Believed to be French, for his odd dress and manner of speech, Jamal finds himself banding with an attractive freedom fighter named Victoria, and Knolte, an alchoholic, penniless former knight who failed his queen and allowed her to be overthrown by an evil king, whom Jamal is forced to perform for as a jester named Sir Skywalker. However, he may be forced to become no less then, indeed, a black knight, who will have to fight in a vicious battle - after making love to Victoria, of course.

The California Angels are currently the worst team in their division. It seems that the players have a little trouble with their teamwork. Manager George Knox would like nothing better than to dump all of them, which the owner says is impossible. Roger is a boy whose mother died and is currently living in a foster home. His father feels that it would probably be in Roger’s best interest if he becomes a ward of the state. But Roger would rather that he and his father get back together, and when he asks his father if that is possible; his father’s reply is “when the Angels win the pennant”. Roger then prays and asks if they could help the team. When Roger goes to a game, he sees some Angels come down from the sky and they help the players make some astounding catches and hits. When Roger tells Mr. Knox about it, Mr. Knox decides to keep him at every game, and it seems that Mr. Knox’s faith is put to the test cause it seems that the angel are going to help if uses his worst players, but it seems to be working.

A concert special originally produced for HBO, BREAKING THE RULES virtually launched Sam Kinison’s too brief career. Within 48 hours after this special aired, Kinson had a record deal, a role in Rodney Dangerfield’s BACK TO SCHOOL, and was on his way to stardom. A former Pentecostal preacher, Kinison’s diatribes on women, homosexuals, and the religious right earned him a legion of fans that included Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue, Guns N’ Roses, as well as other top musical of the era, who also appeared with him in his music videos.

Laurel and Hardy are in the fish business. They drive around town seeing if they can sell any. Stan suggests they catch their own fish and could keep all the profits when selling them to people. Ollie likes the idea so they buy a boat at the junk yard and try, sometimes unsuccessfully, to fix it up. When the boat is finally fixed up, the whole operation goes south.

Mrs. Hardy is irate that her husband Oliver spends more time with his friend Stanley than with her. Oliver decides to adopt a baby, hoping that it will keep his wife occupied so that he and Stanley can continue to carouse. But upon returning home with the infant, they find a process server with a divorce summons, and spend a sleepless night caring for the squalling baby.

Ordered out of town by angry Judge Beaumont, vagrants Stanley and Oliver meet a congenial drunk who invites them to stay at his luxurious mansion. The drunk can’t find his key, but the boys find a way in, sending the surprised woman inside into a faint. They revive her with what they think is water, but is actually gin, and all get tipsy in the process. Outside, the drunk realizes he’s at the wrong house and stumbles off. Eventually, the real homeowner arrives, none other than Judge Beaumont.

Visiting Oliver in the hospital where he’s recovering from a broken leg, Stanley wreaks havoc on both his friend (getting Oliver strung up from the ceiling by his cast-encased leg) as well as the doctor, who winds up dangling out the window. After they’re ordered out, Stanley tries to drive Oliver home, unaware that he’s just accidentally injected himself with a powerful sedative.
